Volunteers Needed for Ball 2009 and Beauty Evening 2009
The two Events Committee meetings were held prior to the main FOBS meeting on 3 Novemeber 2008. Many thanks to those that attended these meetings. We were disappointed that there were not more volunteers. As such, it was agreed by the main FOBS committee that the Summer Ball, booked for 9 May, will go ahead, but the Beauty Evening 2009 is in jeopardy.
If anyone would like to volunteer just a small amount of assistance with either of these events, please would you contact any member of the committee, or use the contact e-mail address on this website, to let us know if you are able to help out, even if only occasionally.
The next meeting for the Beauty Evening committee will take place 7-7.30pm on 27 November, prior to the Christmas wrapping evening. At this meeting the decision will be made whether or not to cancel the Beauty Evening event.
